Present & Future
There are already plans for about 400 homes in the pipeline within agreed development areas. Think about maybe 800 more cars and 1200 more people
Now add the Banks proposal - on greenbelt land, outside of the current development area
That may double the above figures
Then think about:
Sustainable development? Who are they trying to kid? (Well us, actually)
Banks will "listen" to us. And may reduce the initial size of the scheme ("We care, we listen")
Then when outline approval is granted, the true agenda will become clearer:
Maybe a wind farm too? Who knows? - Banks specialise in those as well.....
When the Saxby Wold Wind Farm plan was overturned, North Lincs Council had talked about extending the Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) up to this area
What happened to that noble intent......?
Has Banks sent flyers out to the whole of the town? Feedback suggests not
Out of town is out of mind?
Perhaps Banks reckons that if people don't know the full story, they won't object...?

- Existing horrendous traffic & parking problems
- Loss of countryside, more traffic, pollution & disruption
- What WE actually need, what not Banks wants us to have
