The real title is the Planning Bill 2021 The developers and builders appear to think that Christmas is coming early - and very often It's being called "Developers Charter" by many critics The idea currently appears to be:
Lots of new homes have to be built (Government set targets - for publicity, or real need?)
Unless there's a very good reason not to, build all over the place
Say that it's part of the "Leveling Up" agenda (or is it concreting up?)
Previous development plan? Green belt? Sorry, new Government targets and rules
Local Authorities? They will have to find the space. Somehow
Local communities? Pah! They'll have even less say than before
Local infrastructure? It will catch up. Somehow..... Eventually..... Maybe

Generous Party donations from developers & builders (Google "developer donations")
But backlash seems to be brewing throughout the land...... Communities can see what's what's happening and are now reacting........
Will the Government listen....? Maybe. Hopefully. What if it doesn't....? Answer: North Lincs Council may just say "sorry folks, we're simply working to Government policy"
